Jenny DeVaughn is passionate about volunteering for the American Cancer Society, the Official Sponsor of Birthdays, as a Relay for Life volunteer and social media advisor.
Jenny is a frequent speaker at professional seminars on a variety of topics on how to use social media at the workplace. Recently she attended the Social Recruiting Summit at Google and helped coordinate its' social networking event, a tweetup. She also delivered a nationwide webinar for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) on how to leverage Twitter successfully.
In September, Jenny spoke at RecruitFest in Toronto. She was in attendance at the ERE Fall Expo in Florida and the Social Recruiting Summit in NYC. Also, Jenny gave a social media presentation on LinkedIn and a Twitter workshop for Human Resources (HR) professionals at the 19th Annual SHRM-Atlanta HR Conference. She also delivered social media presentations to the Kettering Executive Network (KEN) Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia. Jenny attended the Social Recruiting Summit in NYC and organized an event with Monster.com (November 2009). Jenny spoke at the SITE Ignite Innovation SE Conference in Savannah, GA (December 2009). Jenny gave two presentations at SoCon10 at Kennesaw State University (January 2010).
