Using Social Media to Identify and Recruit in Healthcare

This week I'm honored to give a social media webinar for members of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) of the American Hospital Association (AHA). The webinar is sponsored by Human Resources IQ.

There have been huge strides in the health care industry with respect to social media. Hospitals and medical facilities have looked beyond the strict, historical constraints of the healthcare industry and are leveraging social media more and more every day.

Here is the slide deck from my webinar, in case you missed it:

Using Facebook to Identify and Recruit Talent

Facebook has over 350 million users from over 70 countries. Many companies are not effectively recruiting from Facebook and are missing out on its massive traffic.

This is a copy of my slide deck from my webinar: Using Facebook to Identify and Recruit Talent. You can also search the tweets with the webinar's hashtag: #FBrecruit.

Nurture Your Online Community

Bert DuMars, VP E-Business and Interactive Marketing at Newell Rubbermaid and Rachel Happe, Co-Founder and Principal, of The Community Roundtable presented an interesting webinar today on growing and nurturing an online community.

Bert discussed the integration of Sharpie’s mass media tactics and social media activities. The Sharpie team wanted to embrace and build relationships with existing Sharpie communities and fanatics. Newell Rubbermaid designed a website that showcases a wide range of creative Sharpie creations at http://www.sharpieuncapped.com. Have you ever seen a Lamborghini completely covered in Sharpie artwork before?

Rachel shared a community maturity model and how the functional areas within the organization are also affected. It is important to be aware of the different challenges as your community matures.

Thanks to Aaron Strout, CMO at Powered for coordinating a great webinar.
